Recently, Williams was performing a stand up act in Phoenix, Arizona where an Hispanic member in the audience attempted to heckle him. Now we've all seen enough Comic View and Def Comedy Jam to know that any person drawing attention to himself or herself must be called out and/or challenged by the comedian immediately, otherwise their entire show can be derailed. What makes this particular incident a bit outside the normal rules of comedic engagement is that Katt Williams then proceeded to go IN on the heckler's Mexican American pride, stating at one point:
Mothafuckas think they can live in this country and pledge allegiance to another country. Do you remember when white people used to say go back to Africa? And we'd have to tell them we don't want to? So if you love Mexico, bitch, get the fuck over there!

This brings up a whole host of questions:
1. First and foremost, did Williams cross the line?
2. Does Williams have a valid point about Americans having "too much" pride towards another country?
3. Do we have a serious rift in this country between the Black Community and the Latino Community?
4. On a side note, is it just me or did Williams seem a little shook up there on that stage?
