Warning to All Democrats - Get in Line with President Obama or Shut the "F" Up!
**Disclaimer** I actually like Cory Booker and find him to be a dynamic politician. If you don't believe me, refresh your memory here.
Yes, I am upset again and for a good reason.
We are 168 days away from the 2012 Presidential Election on November 6th. It's a very simple and clear decision, and there should be no confusion on the views of these two VERY different candidates. I will not sit back and watch Democrats sabotage this election with their unresearched and spineless comments. I will not allow them to pretend they don't understand the depths of our issues and how they intertwine into a bigger picture. So here is my message to Cory Booker and other Deomcrats who think it's ok to step out of line and work against President Obama - GET IN LINE OR SHUT THE "F" UP! It's as simple as that. If you don't want to be a Democrat, leave the party. If you think "Liberal" is a bad word, take your ass to the other side of the aisle! I bet President Romney would do wonderful things for the people of Newark, NJ.
watch at the 6.15 mark
Booker's (The Obama Surrogate) Statement:
“I have to just say, from a very personal level, I’m not
about to sit here and indict private equity.”
"To me, it’s just we’re getting to a ridiculous
point in America, especially that I know I live in a state where pension funds,
unions and other people are investing in companies like Bain Capital. If you
look at the totality of Bain Capital’s record, they’ve done a lot to support
businesses, to grow businesses. And this to me, I’m very uncomfortable with.”
“The last point I’ll make is this kind of stuff is
nauseating to me on both sides,” Mr. Booker continued. “It’s nauseating to the
American public. Enough is enough. Stop attacking private equity. Stop
attacking Jeremiah Wright.”
This is the shit that works my nerves into
overtime. If the Democrats lose in November, it will be because of off target
and non-focused messaging mistakes like this. For the life of me, I can't quite
understand why Mayor Booker thought this was the right thing to say on
"Meet the Press." When Republicans step out of line, they are thrown
out of the party. Not Democrats - we let non believers and half-hearted individuals
stay in the party and sabotage us at every angle. Democrats are constantly
attempting to equalize both sides and both candidates. News flash - Republicans
and Democrats are not equal! Both parties are truly on opposite sides of the
spectrum. If you don't believe me,
click here, here, or here. Does Mayor Booker not watch the news or listen to his
constituents? If he hates being a Democrat so much, then why doesn't he leave
and be an independent? As a proud Democrat who is not afraid to be labeled a
liberal, my message to Mayor Booker is this - if you don't want us, we don't
want you! Leave! However, if you decide to stay, do me a favor - get someone in
your office whose job is specifically to watch the news on every network and
read all the newspapers, blogs, Twitter feeds, Facebook pages, letters from
your constituents; whatever they need to do to keep you abreast of the
happenings of politics across the country. Maybe then, you would understand
that Candidate Romney has made his job at Bain Capital the cornerstone of his
campaign. Romney believes that what he did at Bain is the reason he should be
President. Romney is using his time at Bain to spread lies and label himself as
a job creator, when in fact the record CLEARLY reflects this to be false. Bain
probably advised on job cuts that impacted Newark, NJ.
I gave Mayor Booker an earful via Twitter yesterday, so
there is really nothing left for me to say.
I will turn this over to you.....
1. Were Mayor Booker's comments on "Meet the
Press" destructive to the Obama Campaign?
2. Is there any logic in Mayor Booker's comments?
3. Are Democrats and Republicans on an equal playing
field?
4. Will Democrats ever become a united party?
5. Could you see any Republican doing what Mayor Booker
did? If so, who?
